Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is situated in the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World history website and voted among brand new Wonders worldwide.
The main Cusco area of Peru, it sits very nearly 2, 500 metres above sea level. The hotel and citadel are a quick walk or bus ride from the town of Aguas Calientes plus 80 kilometres from Cusco.
Belmond Sanctuary Lodge is uniquely situated at a hill summit. The only way to and from hotel will be just take a private bus solution run by Consettur. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes place, please purchase your round-trip bus violation through the Consettur booth. Passes will set you back US$20 per individual (subject to change), which must be paid in cash. Both USD and regional currency tend to be acknowledged.
- Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu: from 5:30am to 3:30pm
- Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes: from 6:00am to 5:30pm
Buses leave every 20 moments. Your way takes approx half an hour.
Take note that we now have no taxis from Aguas Calientes toward Machu Picchu Citadel.
For transportation after bus operating hours, be sure to contact Consettur right at +51 or +51, Monday – Saturday from 8am to 12:45pm and 3pm to 6pm, Sundays or vacations from 8am to 12:45pm.
The price for after-hours exclusive service (bus-charter) is US$350 (susceptible to change) for a one-way journey.
Machu Picchu Citadel Tickets
The Machu Picchu citadel is open daily from 6am to 4pm. Seats are private, non-transferable and good for one calendar day only. As soon as bought, dates cannot be altered.
We strongly counsel you to get entry seats beforehand, as just a limited quantity of site visitors are allowed in the Machu Picchu citadel every day. Kindly contact the Ministry of Culture’s call centre at +51- 08 458 2030 to purchase your passes.
