The menu includes a wide range of typical and worldwide dishes including vegetarian meals. Elegant folk shows are positioned for each evening. Bookings are advisable. Start Mon-Sun 11am-11:30pm

Cicciolina (Mediterranean / Tapas)

Calle Triunfo 393, 2nd flooring, well embellished, Spanish / Italian / Mediterranean cuisine, beautifully provided. Kind environment, sophisticated. Individual bar selection includes tapas. A little from the costly part but overall the best value. Go on treat yourself. Suggested. Reservations are a must May to September.

Restaurant Illariy, Monasterio del Cusco Hotel (Andean/International)

Calle Palacios 136, Plazoleta Nazarenas, Cusco. Great food in an old converted monastery. Principal programs for approximately US$20. Great atmosphere and service really worth treating you to ultimately.

Chicha (Nouveau Andino)

Calle Suecia 339, Tel: 292870 (Quechua for happy guinea pig!) excellent destination to try out typical Peruvian dishes such as the house speciality 'cuy al horno' (cooked guinea pig) which emerges from the oven amidst the pulsating of cameras and squeals of delight or disgust. Good solution.


Chez Maggy (Italian)

Calle Plateros 339, Tel 23 4861Freshly baked pizzas built in standard timber burning range. Pastas and soups. Good environment, long tables bring you jostling shoulder to elbow with other travellers.


Al Grano (Asian)

Santa Catalina Ancha 398, Tel: 228032 Asian meals, every day set selection, vegetarian curries, yogurt with cucumber, peanut sauce, non that is simply too spicy. Prices are small. Start Mon-Sat 10am-9pm


Ama Lur (International)

Calle Plateros 325, clean restaurant with diverse menu including most of the regulars such chicken, steaks, soups, salads and pastas. Additionally acts fondue and vegetarian dishes. Usually features a rather affordable ready selection for around US$3. Great coffee. Magazines and everyday magazines readily available. Favored by residents.

Granja Heidi

Cuesta San Blas 525. Tel: 238383 Highly recommended. Really clean with clean toilets. Granja Heidi (Heidi's Farm) provides fresh, nourishing dishes plus healthy breakfasts. They also have an excellent 4 course set meal at lunchtime for US$5. Spacious with plenty of sun light. Becoming highly popular it is therefore best if you reserve a table within the evenings. Great selection of vegetarian meals including tasty stuffed peppers.


El Cuate (Mexican) Tel: 227003

Procuradores 386, value Mexican meals with an inexpensive day-to-day set menu. Huge portions. Start every day 11am-midnight


La Quinta Eulalia (Andean) Tel: 224951

Choquechaka 384, If you'd like to experience an actual Cusqueñan restaurant pay a visit to La Quinta Eulalia. It offers outdoor tented sitting, neighborhood meals including guinea-pig, traditional music and home brewed chicha. A personal experience might remember. Open up only for lunch 11am-5pm

Trotamundos

An excellent collection of snacks, breakfasts, sandwiches therefore the usual dishes, steak and chicken. Friendly solution. Exceptional filter coffee. Good number of salads being safe to eat. Cafe/bar specially cosy through the night with a blazing open fire. a little pricey. Web access. Open 8am-11pm

Tandapata 682, Plazoleta San Blas. (behind the waterfall overlooking San Blas Plaza). English owner. Often has real time music. Great coffee. Snacks and meals, good lasagne. Great place to remain outside when its bright watching society pass by.


Panaderia El Buen Pastor

Cuesta San Blas 579. Bakery run by nuns. Loaves of bread, desserts & pastries. Fresh fruit juices and coffee (okay). Profits head to assisting street kids and orphans whom in addition operate in the bakers. Exemplary worth.


Dolce Vita

Santa Catalina Ancha 366. Most readily useful ice cream in Cusco. Tastes feature chicha, lucuma, coca & pisco sour. Mmmmm.
